May Memorial Baptist Church

Welcome to May Memorial Baptist Church!

We are a wonderful church family that provides opportunities for people of all ages to nurture their faith and pursue their faith story.

Having heard God’s call in Jesus Christ, the members of May Memorial are people who allow their ordinary lives to be used in extraordinary way by God who continues to offer new life and good news to our broken world.

The church family of May Memorial has set goals in accomplishing God’s mission in the world. First, we seek to reach a world with the good news of Jesus Christ. This good news is the gospel that can offer hope to the hopeless and transform us into a new people who live lives of meaning and purpose. More...

As pastor of May Memorial, I warmly invite you to get to know the Church Family at May Memorial. You will find that May Memorial family is made up of people who are committed to following Jesus Christ and making a difference in our Powhatan community and in the world. More...

Renewing our Journey
Restore us to Yourself, O LORD,that we may be renewed

September 12, marked the end of our 100 days of prayer and share.  Our triplets have faithfully met and prayed 10 times over the past 14 weeks.  We have shared hopes, dreams, and a glimpses of a renewed vision for May Memorial Church.

As we come to the end of these important 100 days, the question is:  what's next?

At the end of September all triplet members and all members of the May Memorial family are invited to come

Friday Night, September 30 and Sunday Evening, October 2 to share and gather our ideas and begin writing our future story.

Ken Kessler of the BGAV will lead in both sessions.

More details will announced soon, but please put these important two days on your calendar!
