Disciple 2: Into the Word into the World

On Wednesday, Sept. 14 and Thursday, Sept. 15 we will begin a new Bible study for the 2016/2017 church year. Into the Word/Into the World is a study the teaches the disciple’s pattern of being formed by the written Word of God and then responding by going into the world. This is the second installment of the Disciple Bible Study that many of our members participated in two years ago. This is a shorter study but resembles the first Disciple Bible study in many other ways.

This study will focus on four books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts. There are daily readings, and during our study times we will focus on what each of us has learned as we read and reflected each week.

Study guides can be purchased through the church for $40, or you can buy yourself at Amazon or another online retailer. If you would like for the church to order a guide for you, please sign up before Thursday, September 1.

The study will be offered on Wednesday mornings at 10:30, Wednesday evenings at 7:00, and Thursday evenings at 6:00. Please let Michael know if you plan to participate on Wednesday mornings or Thursday evenings. No sign up is needed for Wednesday evenings. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of the amount of at-home preparation you choose to do or not do.
