Baptist Men - This group of men meet 1st Saturday of the month each quarter for breakfast and fellowship with one another. During this time, they discuss and plan mission opportunities to be involved in. From working with Habitat for Humanity to providing leadership and supplies for our Royal Ambassadors program (a mission program for boys), the Baptist Men of May Memorial are actively growing in the area of being the "hands and feet of Christ". They are committed to support men, young men and boys in missions, in the local community and beyond. These meetings are open to all men of the church, members or guest.
WMU - Since it's beginning this group of ladies has helped the church to focus on the education of, support of and involvement in missions. Through many activities and events, they support missions work at our national, state and local levels. They are also just as involved with doing missions as educating about missions. Two groups make up the WMU at May. Both groups meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The Anna Circle meets at 11:30 am and the Rachael Circle meets at 7:30 pm. From young girls in Girls In Action (GA) to our senior adult women, the WMU is helping to lead May Memorial in the doing of the gospel.
Girls in Action - Girls in 1st through 6th grade participate in Girls in Action or GA's. They work to learn more abut the needs of their community and world and perform projects to assist in meeting those needs. The girls meet during the school year usually on Mondays. You can call the church office for specific dates and times of meetings.
Royal Ambassadors - Boys in 1st through 6th grade participate in the Royal Ambassadors or RAs. They work to learn more abut the needs of their community and world and perform projects to assist in meeting those needs. The boys meet on Wednesday nights during the school year at 6:30 - 7:30 pm while the parents are in prayer meetings.
Mission Friends - Boys and girls, ages 3 to Kindergarten, can participate in Mission Friends. Here, the children are introduced to their community and world. We teach our children about those in this world who do not know the Lord as well as about the missionaries who are working to spread God's word. The children learn about missions through stories, crafts, games, food and through community service projects. The children meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 - 7:30 pm during the school year while the parents are in prayer meeting.

The music at May Memorial seeks to be an integrated part of the worship experience and not a separate entity. Together, the Minister of Music and the Pastor plan the integration of hymns, responses, scripture, anthems, and calls to worship with the worship theme of the day.
