Music Ministry

Back to All Ministries

The music at May Memorial on Sundays is an integral part of the services held at church.

Adult Choir - meets on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. They enhance our services with their special talents.

Adult Handbell Choir meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30. May Memorial is fortunate to have a three octave and two octave chime set of Schulmerich handbells.

Both of these groups are led by Minister of Music Ed Alexander: musicministry@maymemorialchurch.org

There are opportunities for individuals or special groups to sing or play for the worship services. Ed would love to hear from you if you are interested in participating in the music ministry at May Memorial.

New Children’s Ministry Opportunity
Children’s Music-Wednesdays at 5:30p.m.
The children of May Memorial along with their parents took great pleasure in presenting The Crippled Lamb to our church family for our Christmas pageant this month. Our children love to sing and share their excitement in worship, and we want to continue to offer them this opportunity. In order to do this, we will meet on
Wednesdays at 5:30, just before the Wednesday night Fellowship Supper. This will be an enjoyable time for the children to sing, learn, and have a fun time together. All children are invited to participate, and if you would like to assist with this in any way please contact Nan Tomlinson.

Organist, Nita Porterfield and pianist, Irma Alvis add so much to the worship services with their gift of music.
