Front Porch Thursdays - Introduction to the Vision

          Front Porch Thursdays will be a delightful way to share with friends, old and new, some favorite pastimes, relaxing reflection, and preparation for healthy living. Everyone is welcome!
          Participants will enroll in short, 75-minute courses that meet for a few weeks. Course topics will range from learning new hobbies, to reflecting on shared books or current topics of interest, and learning skills related to joyful living in community.
          Most courses will meet on Thursday mornings either at 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. or at 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at May Memorial Baptist Church, “the church with the front porch” in Powhatan Court House, Virginia. Some courses may include short walking excursions or driving trips. Transportation will be in carpools from the church.
          Tuition will be $10.00 to cover expenses for a shared mid-morning coffee break. A few courses may also have small fees for materials, as explained in the course descriptions.
